“Advocacy isn’t about being perfect — it’s about using your voice for those who feel unheard.”
Advocacy has always been more than a cause — it’s a calling. After experiencing loss, heartache, and the challenges that come with rebuilding, I learned how powerful it is to speak up, to share, and to stand beside others who are still finding their strength.
I don’t advocate from a distance — I advocate from experience. Every story I share, every project I build, and every conversation I start is rooted in compassion, understanding, and the belief that healing is possible.
I use my platforms to bring awareness to organizations and movements that reflect my mission of hope, healing, and prevention.
· 🧠 Mental Health Awareness — Supporting conversations around depression, anxiety, trauma, and emotional well-being.
· 💔 Suicide Prevention — Sharing resources, stories, and reminders that every life matters.
· 🎗️ Cancer & Health Advocacy — Honoring my mother’s legacy through awareness for Sarcoma and other illnesses.
· 🕊️ Women’s Empowerment — Encouraging self-worth, boundaries, and resilience through education and storytelling.
· 🤝 Community Outreach — Connecting people with support networks and local resources that foster healing and growth.
When I look back on my journey, I see how advocacy and awareness changed everything for me. It taught me that silence doesn’t protect us — it isolates us. By speaking up, we remind others that they’re not alone, that there’s help available, and that it’s okay to start again.
If you or someone you know needs support, I encourage you to reach out to local or national organizations like:
· 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — https://988lifeline.org
· NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) — https://nami.org
· RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) — https://rainn.org
· SAMHSA Mental Health Services — https://www.samhsa.gov/find-help
· United Way — https://www.unitedway.org
Your voice matters. Your story matters. And sometimes, advocacy begins by simply showing up — for yourself and for others.
“Healing begins when we share what once broke us.”
